Madonna – Exotic and Virtuosic Music from the Italian Baroque

This concert is part of the Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series: a series of free lunch hour concerts held on Mondays from 1.10pm – 2.00pm.

Auncient Hermony (dir. Vivien Hamilton) presents a 400th anniversary concert of sacred and profane music by Francesca Caccini. The theme explores the musico/textual display of poetic desire for women as depicted in early 17th-century song.

The Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series is kindly supported by the Cicely & Colin Rigg Bequest.
