Cristina Russo (Soprano)
Cristina Russo is a versatile soprano with an impressive repertoire ranging from Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem Mass in D Minor (K.626), Mendelssohn’s St Paul, Vivaldi Mass RV 588, Fauré’s Requiem and Zelenka’s ZWV 12 Missa Divi Xaverii to name a few.
Cristina has performed with world-class ensembles including the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, Australian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kronos Quartet.
This impressive performance background enables Cristina to craft wonderful and moving performances suitable for significant life events including wedding ceremonies, anniversaries, house parties, funerals and short features. Cristina hold a Bachelor of Music (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Italian) from the University of Melbourne.
