A Zine is a Protection Spell!
Creative Workshop with Katy B Plummer

Join us for a hands-on workshop that unleashes magic of personal spells through the art of zine making.
Contemporary artist Katy B Plummer will walk through making a protection spell with you in zine form. You’ll use automatic/intuitive language generation and experimental drawing and painting techniques to divine your own protective symbols and incantations. Once complete, your zine can be scanned, printed, and mailed to the folks in your life who could use a protective boost.
Join the fun from home with whatever supplies you have on hand. A list of suggested materials will be supplied in your registration confirmation email.

About your host
Katy B Plummer makes video, sculpture, installations, and zines. She looks for the moment that fervent conviction and striving either ascends to glory, or tips into bathos.
Basically, she likes high drama with its pants around its ankles.
