Our  Associate Dean for Students, Prof Katrina McFerran, will host a summit of experts coming together to talk about Student Mental Health – promotion, prevention, support and treatment. This is an important topic for our faculty, where many students are already managing mental health challenges, and others are struggling with the additional pressures of university life. Bring your questions and l earn more about what is being done and what is needed to ensure that our students have the best support we can offer.

About your panel

Professor Katrina Skewes McFerran is an international expert on the topic of music, music therapy and adolescents. She has undertaken a range of studies investigating healthy and unhealthy uses of music with and by young people, preferring participatory approaches with an emphasis on reflexive, qualitative investigations.

Dr Vivienne Browne is the author of the Under the Radar Report on University Student Wellbeing.

Orania Tokatlidis is the Head of Counselling and Psychological Services.

Dr Anna Dabrowski is a research fellow at the Australian Council of Educational Research.
