Melbourne Commencement Ceremony
Welcome to your first official University of Melbourne event, the Melbourne Commencement Ceremony (MCC)! You'll be welcomed by university leaders and hear from guest speakers and industry influencers who will wish you well on your journey with us. It all starts here!
12.00 pm - 1.00 pm, Peer Mentoring Session
The Melbourne Peer Mentor Program (MPMP) is a brilliant way for you to connect with your peers and a later year Fine Arts and Music student mentor. The program aims to provide a space for you to ask questions, feel heard and be supported as you begin your journey as a student creative. This first session (there are 5 sessions in total) will provide you with the opportunity to meet your mentor and other first-year students from your degree program. During the session, your mentor will lead you through introductions and provide you with an overview of the MPMP. They will also offer some insight into what your first few weeks of university will look like based on their own valuable experience. Keep an eye on your student email for further details.
