The original version of Bottles was shown in 1994. In 2017, Bottles is even more potent incorporating issues associated with waste, consumerism, recycling, cultural consumption and beauty...themes that are in the spotlight as much right now if not more than they were 22 years ago.

Lauren Berkowitz

Lauren Berkowitz is an Australian installation artist, working mostly with ephemeral and site-specific works that evoke the passage of time and our place within it. Lauren has been at the forefront of art and issues to do with climate change since the early 1990s. Her poetic and compelling installations addressing some of the most pressing aesthetic and social concerns of our time have been included in major national and international surveys of contemporary art.
