Nick Deutsch is one of the most sought-after Oboists of his generation. He has worked as solo oboist with many of the world’s greatest orchestras. He is an active chamber musician and soloist and has appeared in numerous music festivals in over 40 countries. He currently holds the position of Prof. of Oboe at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater, “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig as well as Artistic Director of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in Melbourne.
