Find Your Voice
There are many potential pathways for the modern percussionist. During your undergraduate studies, you will receive a thorough technical grounding in fundamental areas (including keyboard percussion, timpani, snare drum and auxiliary instruments) and an introduction to various aspects of percussion performance. As you advance through your degree, you will have opportunities to specialise in the performance areas that inspire you most, such as orchestral, solo, chamber, historical and modern performance practices, improvisation, and pedagogy. These skills can be further honed through our postgraduate courses.
