The Keyboard Area staff of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music invites pianists and music lovers alike for a rare opportunity to hear the complete 24 Preludes and Fugues of Dmitri Shostakovich at the 2026 Keyboard Festival.

Among the most distinguished pianists in Australia, these performances will feature Conservatorium Keyboard Area staff including Jerry Wong (Head of Keyboard), Caroline Almonte, Kristian Chong, Kenji Fujimura, Coady Green, Olga Kharitonova, Tristan Lee, Igor Machlak, Konstantin Shamray and Tamara Smolyar.

Spread across two exciting concerts in Hanson Dyer Hall, this is a body of work that is seldom heard in its entirety, and these performances are not to be missed.
