Throughout the program I met many like-minded and encouraging individuals who shared my passion for jazz. It was great to be around the volunteers, Uni students who were taking the course with Andrea, as we could clearly see the possibilities for us in the future. We were able to make connections with the other girls and feel encouraged as there was no minimum requirement to be a part. It felt like one large, positive learning journey for all of us. I was motivated to practice when I got home and let me experience a side of jazz I would never have been given the opportunity to if I hadn’t participated!
