Old Police Hospital

The former Victoria Police Hospital today houses the Dean’s office and a number of professional staff teams for the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. The 2015 refurbishment balanced the needs of a contemporary workspace against the heritage restraints set by Heritage Victoria, achieving a balance between the new and old.

The updated building creates a meaningful connection from the city into the Arts Precinct. Inside, there is a shared workspace for staff to enjoy. Outside, new steel and glass entry canopies complement the underlying brickwork.
