Unconscious Practice
11.00am - 12.00pm, Friday 31 July 2020
A creative workshop hosted by Manisha Anjali

About the session

"I've always had access to other worlds. We all do because we dream" Leonora Carrington.

The artist must perform between two worlds- the dream realm and the waking realm. A commitment to the Imagination must therefore be made to keep ourselves in a constant state of inspiration.
Join Manisha Anjali in an interactive workshop that delves into the creative potential that can be unearthed from our unconscious lives. Come explore techniques ranging from dream practice to performative self-annihilation to automatic writing to editing as means of both play and altering reality.  Open to practitioners working with any medium. Bring a dream, pen, and paper.
