Promoting the VCA Film and Television Digital Archive is important as it creates an emotional resonance that draws people in to want to delve deeper into this rich collection and the artistic works of past, present and emerging filmmakers. We want new and existing audiences to better understand the diversity and breadth of this collection and the potential impact that these stories have on our cultural identity.
We’re certain there’s no shortage of related stories to share and we would love to hear yours. Individuals are encouraged to either comment on specific films, share photos from shoots and/ or experiences making or working on films or write you can write a response to films in the archive. Previous participants have written film reviews, reflection pieces, creative or politically motivated responses. However you may be inspired, we would love you to contact us. Stories are intended to be published live, so please share with respect and integrity.
