Based on the book of the same name by investigative journalist Luke Harding, A Very Expensive Poison tells the true story of the radioactive poisoning of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko in London in 2006.

On the cusp of unnerving global crises and rumblings of a new Cold War, A Very Expensive Poison sends us deep into the shadowy world of international espionage from Moscow to Mayfair.

Content Warning: Depictions of violence, mention of suicide, coarse language, use of imitation flick knife and firearm, use of haze, flashing lights and sudden loud noises.
