Beginning as an exercise in ‘pure drama’ ten performers are suddenly on the shore of a mighty river, with loss of memory and language on this side, and enlightenment on the other. Can the river be crossed? And should they do it together, or alone?

From China’s only Nobel Laureate, this is theatre at its most playful, existential and exhilarating.
