Rhys grew up in a town of 100 people, hard to believe a thing like that exists but it does. He spent his time wandering around farms, searching through the bush, finding some odd things at times, and really just exploring the town he loves. After three degrees, some short films, and a tonne of screenplays in the bottom drawer, his childhood experiences continue to inform his writing. He's drawn to stories about family, about people overcoming the gravest of dangers such as the mafia on your tail or a 500 mile trek through the wilderness in order to make their families' lives even just a little bit better.
