Study Narrative Filmmaking at the VCA

This specialisation covers screenwriting, direction and editing of narrative film and television. Our students are encouraged to be innovative and experimental. They explore ideas and develop the expertise to express these to an audience through a visual medium.

Narrative Filmmaking is taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Our students gain hands-on experience in all the major creative roles involved in film production. You will work on your own films and crew on other students' films, honing your skills in cinematography and sound editing.
