Big Band

Students are required to audition to participate in the ensemble or enrol in the corresponding ensemble subjects:

Brass Ensemble

Chamber Choir

Students are required to request an audition to participate in the ensemble or enrol in the corresponding ensemble subjects:

Conservatorium Choir

After enrolling in one of the corresponding subjects below, students must submit their audition via the Conservatorium Choir merge subject in Canvas. Detailed audition instructions are provided in Canvas.

Conservatorium Honours Ensemble

All students enrolled in an Honours Ensemble subject must register their ensemble activity no later than the end of week 2.

Register via the Honours Ensemble Canvas LMS. Log in required.

Conservatorium Masters Ensemble Registration

All students enrolled in a Masters ensemble subject must register their ensemble activity no later than the end of week 2.

Early Music Ensembles

Students are not required to audition to participate in Early Music Ensembles.
Students can enrol directly into the corresponding subjects:

Early Voices

Students are required to request an audition to participate in the ensemble or enrol in the corresponding ensemble subjects:

Percussion Ensemble

Piano Duo and Duet

Pre-formed duos of piano students entering Second, Third or Honours years will undertake the required five to ten-minute audition. Audition times to be announced. All duos are to arrive at the same time/day and specific audition slots will be sorted at that time. Audition venues include rooms allocated for the ensemble on the fifth and sixth floors of the Ian Potter Southbank Centre. Either four-hand or two-piano repertoire may be presented. Further information regarding the audition will be announced to piano students via Canvas prior to Week One of the academic calendar.
