VCA Film and Television Digital Archive

The VCA Film and Television Digital Archive provides online access, for the first time, to the audiovisual holdings of Australia's oldest continuing film school. The archive is recognised as a University of Melbourne Cultural Collection because of its social, historical, aesthetic, cultural and research significance.

Staff and Student Access

Film and Television Students and Staff can access the archive here.

Soon, all University of Melbourne staff and students will be able to access the Digital Archive using their University username and password. In the meantime, please visit request access if you require access.

Our Story

The VCA Film and Television Digital Archive is an online repository of more than 1,850 student films, dating back to 1966. New work is added each year by the University’s Film and Television students, making it a truly living archive.
