James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim bring together beloved fairy tale characters in a timeless, poignant tale about wishes and consequences. A baker and his wife’s quest to break a witch’s curse sets off a chain of magical events. Enchanting yet dark, this Sondheim classic explores what happens after “happily ever after”.

Content warning: This performance contains mature themes, sudden loud noises, haze and references and depictions of violence.

This performance will run for approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes including an interval. Any latecomers will be admitted at the discretion of front of house.
